EyeOnLP: Loss Prevention Foundation Now Partnered with American Public University System

The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) has partnered with American Public University System (APUS), the accredited institution comprised of American Public University (APU) and American Military University (AMU).

Both institutions are leading online education providers with more than 100,000 distance learners studying in 50 states and more than 100 countries. APU and AMU offer career-relevant and affordable online programs that help equip students for roles within the retail loss prevention and asset protection communities. With more than 190 degree and certificate programs, including business administration, security management with a loss prevention concentration, and retail management, their degrees prepare students for service and leadership in a diverse and global society.

LPQ/LPC certified professionals may be eligible for up to 3 credit hours awards towards completing a degree. Members and certified professionals may also qualify for a 5 percent tuition grant and a transfer credit evaluation fee waiver.

APUS’s faculty combines relevant theory with real-world experience. APUS students are motivated, working adults often balancing family, school, and career. Students will quickly discover a supportive and tight-knit community of faculty, staff, and fellow scholars who help drive an enriching and engaging classroom experience.

APUS has been a tremendous industry partner in supporting the Loss Prevention Foundation’s efforts to advance the loss prevention/asset protection profession by providing a collaborative academic partnership. Not only have they presented at the LPF Board of Directors meeting, they have also sponsored numerous conference presentations and distributed LPC scholarships to industry professionals. They even provide dedicated counselors to assist LPF members and certified professionals with navigating through the enrollment process.

APUS can be seen frequently at the NRF and RILA Loss Prevention/Asset Protection conferences. To learn more about the LPF-APUS partnership and its associated benefits, visit www.apuspartners.com/LPF/index.htm.
