Veronica Estell from Detroit, Michigan found this out the hard way when her two children used virtual assistant Alexa to buy more than $700 worth of Christmas toys behind her back.
When a delivery driver arrived at her door with a massive haul of gifts, Estell originally thought that a generous friend or relative had sent her the gifts.
This was until her 4- and 6-year-old children, Aryssa and Cam, admitted to buying the toys, which included a Barbie Dream House, LOL Dolls, and PJ Masks figurines. The kids even ordered a pack of batteries to power everything, according to the Metro.
