Cashier Stole $8.4K in 2 Weeks on the Job

A 20-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested after police say he admitted to a retail theft scheme that “got out of hand” in Wauwatosa. According to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, officers were dispatched to the At-Home store, 3201 N. Mayfair Road on a report of employee theft.

Police said the store’s manager discovered that an employee, later identified as Corey F. Allison, 20, of Milwaukee made fraudulent returns and transferred the returns to store gift cards. According to police, the manager found that Allison made 44 unique fraudulent transactions between July 1 and July 15 at the store, totaling $8,453.94. Police said they made… Wauwatosa Patch
