A woman convicted of stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from multiple Victoria’s Secret locations in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, will serve prison time. A Douglas County judge sentenced Nenzingha Davis, 23, to at least two years in prison Wednesday afternoon.
Omaha police arrested Davis and Montashia Montgomery in December 2017 on suspicion of felony shoplifting and terroristic threats. “She would be with other boosters. They stole over 50 thousand dollars in merchandise,” Detective Sherry Gooley said.
Police believe Davis and Montgomery were “ringleaders” of a booster group that goes into stores and steals thousands of dollars in merchandise. On one occasion, police say Davis and Montgomery threatened an employee while attempting to steal clothing. The group was then accused of turning around and selling that clothing online for a profit. Crash Leads to Credit Card Fraud Arrest
A Tuesday morning car crash on Collier Boulevard led to a credit card fraud arrest. Collier County Sheriff (CCSO) deputies in Florida arrested William Collins, 29, of Marco Island, on suspicion of illegal use of credit cards and fraudulent use of personal identification information after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash, according to an arrest report.
According to the arrest report, Collins ran his pickup off the road near Serenity Walk Park. Collins is accused of using stolen credit cards to make a purchase of more than $500 from a North Naples Walmart.
