John Weisert was recently named director of risk management with Boston area-based BJ’s Wholesale Club. Weisert is the former director of risk management with James Avery Artisan Jewelry and director of loss prevention with Pier 1 where he also held the role of senior manager of risk management. He began his retail career with Target where he was a regional risk manager. Weisert holds a bachelor’s degree in History from College of Holy Cross.
