Mother, Daughter Shoplifting Team Arrested

Michigan police arrested an alleged mother, daughter shoplifting team from Melvindale at a department store. The incident occurred in Kohl’s, 20840 West Road, at about 3:20 p.m. May 16.

The mother had her 2-year-old son in a shopping cart while she and her mother allegedly selected nearly $1,000 worth of merchandise. Upon their arrival, police gave the mother and daughter the opportunity to call “a responsible adult” to come pick up the child from the department store, but neither could find anyone… The News-Herald
