Art Lazo has been promoted to vice president of asset protection at 7-Eleven. Lazo was most recently director of asset protection responsible for the United States and Canada at the company. He began his career in retail with Toys “R” Us in 1992, moving from a store management position into LP as a loss prevention specialist in 1997. He has also held leadership roles with The Home Depot as a regional loss prevention manager, Circuit City as a regional loss prevention manager, and Sears Holdings as a regional director of loss prevention. He additionally served as a loss prevention consultant with Protiviti and Asset Protection Consultants before joining 7-Eleven in 2013 as director of asset protection for the western United States, Canada, and SSC Operations.
Lazo also holds an associate’s degree in administration of justice from Olympic College.
