Three juveniles charged as adults in the gunpoint robbery at a T-Mobile store over the weekend are being held at the county prison after failing to post bail set at 10 percent of $500,000 each, according to authorities and online court records. An alarm in an iPhone box that was activated when the stolen merchandise left the store aided authorities in tracking the suspects, identified as Nasir Bell, 17, of Upper Darby; Dahmar Redd, 16, of Colwyn; and Kashan Robinson, 16, of Collingdale, according to a Collingdale police release.
All three suspects are charged with robbery, simple assault, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of a firearm by a minor and related conspiracy offenses. Saturday night, the suspects were in a stolen vehicle as they led officers from multiple police agencies on a chase into Southwest Philadelphia, where they were taken into custody. During the pursuit, officers from Darby Township collided on a roadway in Southwest Philadelphia but refused treatment, authorities said. [Source: Daily News]
