The 2024 Swing for Certification Golf Tournament was held less than two weeks ago at the Los Verdes Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes CA in advance of NRF Protect. It was full of fantastic golfing moments, wonderful company, and leisurely networking.
The event was a huge success due to the generosity of the Swing for Certification sponsors and players alike. As a result, the LP Foundation is thrilled to announce that LP Foundation is able to give out a record-setting number of LPQ & LPC scholarships in honor of the late Bob MacLea.
The Bob MacLea Scholarship Fund was created in remembrance of Bob and his outstanding contribution to the LP industry as a leader, innovator, mentor, and friend. The annual Swing for Certification raises funds from its sponsors to perpetuate Bob’s legacy through the scholarships it provides to LP professionals seeking to continue their professional development with either the LPCertified or LPQualified course.
“We are deeply indebted to all who participated in Swing 2024, whether as a golfer, a sponsor, or a volunteer,” said Caroline Kochman, President of LP Foundation. “Following the example set by Bob MacLea, the LP industry is a family that never fails to show up and step up!”
