Shannon Hunter Promoted to Vice President of Loss Prevention & Sustainability at Office Depot

Shannon Hunter has been promoted to vice president of loss prevention and sustainability at Office Depot. He was most recently senior director of loss prevention and safety for the company. Hunter began his tenure with OfficeMax/Office Depot as a district loss prevention manager with OfficeMax in 1998 and quickly worked his way up the ladder to territory loss prevention manager, manager of corporate loss prevention, and director of corporate loss prevention operations. Following the merger with Office Depot in 2014 he became director of LP operations and international and director of supply chain, corporate, and international loss prevention before being promoted to senior director of loss prevention and safety. He has also held positions with Service Merchandise, Montgomery Ward, Sears, and Venture Stores over the course of his 24+ years in loss prevention. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management from Truman State University.
