Retail Industry Leader Carmen DuBose, CFI, Appointed to the Board of Advisors for the International Association of Interviewers

The International Association of Interviewers (IAI) has proudly announced the appointment of Carmen DuBose, CFI, to its board of advisors. With nearly 25 years of expertise in retail operations and asset protection, DuBose brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the organization.

Currently, DuBose serves as the senior director of asset protection at Hibbett | City Gear, a leading fashion footwear retailer with nearly 1,200 locations across 36 states. Based at the company’s headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, DuBose oversees various loss prevention and risk management strategies.

DuBose is an active industry advocate, sharing her expertise and promoting best practices in asset protection. She has made meaningful contributions through her involvement with the RILA Asset Protection Leaders Council, the National Retail Federation Loss Prevention Council, and the editorial board of Loss Prevention Magazine. DuBose has already demonstrated leadership in the IAI, where she played a key role in founding the IAI Southeast Chapter. Recognized for her impact, DuBose was honored as the 2023 Certified Forensic Interviewer of the Year.
