The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) welcomes Brivo, a global leader in cloud-based access control and smart building technologies, as its newest associate-level partner. The LPF’s valued partners help foster professional education in the industry and provide access to LPQ and LPC certification course scholarships for loss prevention professionals.
“It is a privilege to welcome Brivo to the LP Foundation family,” said LPF President Caroline Kochman. “Brivo’s vision ‘to combine the best service we can deliver with the best technology we can create’ is a terrific fit for the LPF. We look forward to exploring this new partnership and collaborating with the Brivo team to continue to enhance the value we bring to the LP industry.”
Brivo is a pioneer in cloud-based access control. With solutions that protect and optimize retail space and operations, the organization helps to secure retail properties globally. This includes preventing retail loss and theft through a centralized security platform that can grant access at scale, detect risks before and as they occur, and analyze threats and unusual behavior.
Maureen Perrelli, chief revenue officer at Brivo, said, “Our partnership with the Loss Prevention Foundation marks a significant step in Brivo’s commitment to enhancing retail security. We recognize the critical role of innovative solutions in minimizing loss and optimizing retail operations. Collaborating with the LPF, we are not only supporting the education of LP professionals through certification but also actively shaping safer retail environments. This partnership exemplifies our dedication to leading the charge in loss prevention, ensuring that retailers can thrive in today’s challenging landscape.”
In addition to formalizing its support of LPF certifications and other educational offerings to the industry, Brivo has opted to become a Friend of Swing at LPF’s Annual Swing for Certification golf tournament. This annual golf outing raises funds for the Bob MacLea Memorial Scholarship and the LP Benevolent Fund, supporting education for LP practitioners and aiding those injured on the job.
