Kevin Colman named Group Vice President of Asset Protection for Macy’s

Macy’s, Inc. has promoted Kevin Colman to Group Vice President of Asset Protection. Colman takes over the position previously held by Tom Roan, who recently retired. Colman began his career with Macy’s in 1994, and most recently served as Vice President of Loss Prevention in the greater New York City area, serving as central support for eight regional loss prevention partners and national team building initiatives. Kevin attended the State University of New York at Albany.

Established in 1858, Macy’s, Inc. operates stores and Internet websites throughout the United States. Its stores and websites sell a range of merchandise, including apparel and accessories for men, women, and children; cosmetics; home furnishings; and other consumer goods. As of September 2014, Macy’s operated approximately 800 stores under the Macy’s name in 45 states of the United States, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico, as well as the macys.com website and the Macy’s shopping app.
