NRF 2019: Retail’s BIG Show

  • Where? New York, NY

The National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Annual Convention & Expo earned the nickname “Retail’s BIG Show” years ago and because the name was so appropriate, it stuck. Today, Retail’s BIG Show is NRF’s flagship event held annually in New York City. The three-day event offers education, networking with 33,000 industry professionals, and an enormous expo hall full of technologies and solutions. [This year, there will be two expo halls.]

NRF 2019: Retail’s Big Show is a marketplace for ideas and relationships. A chance to forge new partnerships, try out best-in-class experiences, and learn from some of the biggest players transforming retail today.

The 2019 event will feature:

SHOT Show 2019

  • When? January 22-25
  • Where? Las Vegas, NV

The SHOT Show is one of the industry’s largest dedicated exhibitions for shooting sports, hunting and outdoor accessories. The 2019 event is the 41st annual SHOT Show. It will feature more than 1,600 total exhibitors on the expo floor and more than 2,200 when including the Suppliers Showcase. More than 60,000 professionals in the shooting, hunting, oudoors, and law enforcement industries attended the 2018 event.

The SHOT Show offers attendees the opportunity browse manufacturers’ full product lines in addition to their latest tech and product releases. Attendees can talk to suppliers about their businesses, customers and needs and walk away with the knowledge to drive sales.

Cyber Security Summit: Silicon Valley

  • When? January 24
  • Where? San Jose, CA

The Cyber Security Summit has been ranked as one of the “Top 50 Must-Attend Conferences” by DigitalGuardian. The second-annual Silicon Valley Cyber Security Summit will connect C-suite and senior executives responsible for protecting their companies’ critical infrastructures with innovative solution providers and information security experts. Admission is $350 each, which provides access to all interactive panels, discussions, catered breakfast, lunch and a cocktail reception.

By attending a full day at the Cyber Security Summit, you will receive a certificate granting you 6 CPE credits. To earn these credits, you must participate for the entire conference and confirm your attendance with your signature at the end of the day.

SMC³ Jump Start 2019

  • When? January 28-30
  • Where? Atlanta, GA

Jump Start is a three-day supply chain event produced annually by SMC³, a leading less-than-truckload (LTL) data and solutions provider. The event aims to facilitate meaningful knowledge transfer and collaboration between logistics and transportation professionals from carrier, shipper, logistics service provider and technology verticals.

Norfolk Southern’s Jeff Heller; Terry Matthews, executive vice president of intermodal at J.B. Hunt; and JLL’s Walter Kemmsies are among the supply chain technology and transportation industry thought leaders slated to speak during the Jump Start 2019 conference.
