Trio ‘s Alleged Mall Shoplifting Spree

Jorge Pesce, 25, and Jasmine Salgado, 24, both of 2221 N. Narragansett Ave., Chicago, and an 18-year-old, were arrested the evening of April 26 in Rosemont for allegedly stealing over $1,100 of merchandise from stores at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago.

Public safety officers were dispatched to the mall for a report of a retail theft in progress April 26. Mall security had the 18-year-old suspect in custody at the time. The 18-year-old was detained at Saks Off 5th. He allegedly told police he didn’t steal from Saks Off 5th and that Pesce had receipts for merchandise from the store. He allegedly claimed he stole from Neiman Marcus and said he didn’t know about the bag and its contents found in the vehicle.
