Only five retailers made LinkedIn’s list of the 50 best workplaces to grow a career in the United States.
Amazon took the top spot in LinkedIn’s fifth annual ranking of the companies that offer the best places for professionals to grow their careers and develop skills. Walmart took the ninth spot on the 2021 LinkedIn Top Companies list, and CVS Health came in at #15. The only other retailers to make the list were Target (#28) and The Home Depot (#48). To come up with the ranking this year, LinkedIn used its data to rank companies based on seven pillars that have been shown to lead to career progression: ability to advance; skills growth; company stability; external opportunity; company affinity; gender diversity and educational background… Chain Store Age
