Tom Arigi has been named director of asset protection at The Kroger Company. Arigi has more than thirty years of experience in the retail industry, bringing a diverse background to Kroger that includes leadership positions in asset protection, store operations, safety, risk management, security, and business continuity. Most recently Arigi held the role of director of asset protection for Walmart U.S. where he had responsibility for the full spectrum of safety and security strategy development and operational design. Prior to Walmart, he held a number of leadership roles to include senior vice president of loss prevention for National Stores, and divisional vice president of loss prevention for Sears Holdings Corporation.
Arigi actively serves the loss prevention community as a member of the board of advisors for the Loss Prevention Research Council, as a member of the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) Asset Protection Leadership Council, and also serves on the editorial board for LP Magazine.
