The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) Announces New Board Member

Ken Peschier with Dollar General joins the LPF Board of Directors

The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) has announced the selection of its newest board member to assist in governing and providing strategic direction for the Foundation. Ken Peschier has accepted the nomination and has been approved by the LPF board to serve on the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Each new board member must demonstrate their support for industry-specific loss prevention certification and must be personally committed to obtaining the LPC designation. They must have a passion for improving our professional perception as an industry and feel professional certification is a critical step in achieving that goal.

Ken Peschier is vice president of asset protection at Dollar General with responsibility for all corporate and field asset protection functions. Prior to this, he served as senior director of store operations / asset protection at Dollar General and director of merchandising, Great Lakes division at Walmart Stores, Inc. He also previously served as manager of retail Operations and merchandising at Accenture and in a variety of roles at Shaw’s Supermarkets, Inc. / SUPERVALU, Inc. including assistant category manager and several positions within retail operations management.
