Suspect Wanted For Killing Father Caught Shoplifting

A Connecticut man wanted for allegedly killing his father in Bloomfield was nabbed for shoplifting by Stamford Police.

Anthony Bussey, 34, of Bloomfield, was arrested around 3:15 p.m., Sunday, June 2, at the Stop & Shop by Stamford Police, said Bloomfield Police Captain Stephen Hajdasz.

Hajdasz said Bussey was charged with larceny after allegedly being caught concealing items in Stop & Shop and store loss prevention notified Stamford Police of an active shoplifting incident. Stamford Police were able to arrive on the scene and make the arrest without incident.
