Suspect Charged in Alleged Theft of $20,000 in Diesel Fuel

A Providence man is being charged with taking part in a ring that allegedly stole about $20,000 in diesel fuel from a South Attleboro gas station using a bogus credit card.

Enoc E. Jerez, 46, pleaded innocent Monday in Attleboro District Court to charges of larceny by a single scheme, conspiracy and 11 counts each of possession of an improper credit card and identity fraud. Jerez was arrested Friday at Irving Gas on Route 1 in South Attleboro, Massachusetts, after the company notified police of the alleged fraud. He is free on $3,000 cash bail… The Sun Chronicle
