A frightening moment this afternoon at a Dothan grocery store after an armed robbery started as a shoplifting attempt at the Piggly Wiggly on Montgomery Highway.
According to Lieutenant Rachel David when loss prevention interfered, the suspect presented a weapon. The man then took off from the store and was arrested by Dothan Patrol Officers who responded to the call. The suspect has not been identified and no formal charges have been filed at this point… WDHN News
