Shoplifter Assaults LP Associate with Skateboard

At 3:20 PM on October 29, a Loss Prevention officer from the Hollister store inside the Visalia Mall in California contacted a man in the mall parking lot suspected of shoplifting items from the store. The officer was able to retrieve the stolen property from the suspect, however, when asked to accompany the officer back to the store, the suspect struck the officer with his skateboard, and fled the area.

The officer suffered a minor cut to his abdomen. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’4”, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. If anyone has information regarding this incident please… The Sun Gazette
