Shoplifter Allegedly Cut LP Associate with Knife during Theft Attempt

Police arrested a Coralville, Iowa, man over the weekend after he allegedly assaulted a loss-prevention officer with a knife while attempting to steal from a Target store.

According the Coralville Police Department, John K. Greb, 18, was attempting to steal items from the Target at Coral Ridge Mall, 1441 Coral Ridge Avenue, when he was confronted by a loss-prevention officer. Police said Greb was armed with a knife, which he used to cut the loss-prevention officer in the hand before fleeing the store.
