Serial Shoplifter Busted after Hitting Same Store 2 Days in a Row

Police in Framingham, Massachusetts, say a local woman shoplifted two days in a row at the Target store on Cochituate Road, making off with more than $1,400 in merchandise. Police arrested Sarah McWilliams, 45, at about 2:20 PM Thursday, charging her for incidents that occurred that day and the day before.

On Thursday, store security called police and said they had caught a shoplifter trying to leave the store with a carriage full of items, according to a police report filed Friday in Framingham District Court. “They said that they caught Sarah McWilliams shoplifting numerous times from the store,” police wrote in the report.

One of those incidents occurred Wednesday. During that incident, McWilliams stole almost $1,050 worth of items, including two fans valued at $450 each, a $30 scale and a $90 comforter, police wrote in the report… Metro West Daily News
