Columbus, Ohio-based Big Lots Stores recently named Rob LaCommare, CFI vice president of asset protection. LaCommare is the former vice president of asset protection & safety with Ascena Retail Group, Inc. LaCommare started his LP career as a store detective with Quality Dairy in 1989, holding similar positions with TJ Maxx and Kroger before moving to ACO Hardware in 1993. He then moved to Limited Brands where he held positions with increasing responsibility as part of Structure, Limited Too and Justice (Tween Brands), where he was named AVP of asset/profit protection and risk management. Following the acquisition of Justice by Ascena Group he soon promoted to vice president of asset protection and safety. LaCommare holds a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University.
