Retailers Collaborate, Network, and Engage at the LPRC’s Supply Chain Summit

Collaborate, network, engage—that was the theme for the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) Supply Chain Summit held at the REI Distribution Center in Lebanon, Tennessee last week.

On day one, each attendee toured REI’s brand new facility and explored some of the latest technology in supply chain security. The day capped off with a networking after hours event at Top Golf in Nashville.

Day two opened with the University of Florida’s Dr. Christina Burton, who shared results from the LPRC’s supply chain survey, launched earlier this year. “Finding The Ecosystem” within the supply chain was the topic of the day and was used to affirm how the SARA Scanning Analysis Response Assessment (SARA) model can assist in developing solutions. The various retailers and solution providers attending were able to brainstorm on real case scenarios using this method. All in all, the LPRC Supply Chain Summit was informative and set the tone for the good work that will be done in 2024.
