Retailers are working hard every day to deliver the products families need as Americans stay home to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
To encourage safe shopping habits, the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) released the video above highlighting 5 tips to #ShopSafe focusing on the following points:
- Stay 6 feet apart in the store and at checkout and follow the signs in stores to practice social distancing
- Don’t hoard
- Respect designated hours for seniors and at-risk customers
- Consider using online orders and curbside pick-up
- Remember to say “Thank You” to retail workers #ThankYouRetailWorkers
“We all have a part to play in keeping our communities safe,” said Brian Dodge, RILA president. “We are in this together and together we’ll get through this.”
