Ray Cloud has been promoted to group senior vice president, loss prevention, organizational safety, and security at Ross Stores. Cloud was most recently senior vice president of loss prevention for the retailer. He began his professional career in the U.S. Army before moving to Target Stores in 1988, where he held various leadership positions with Target and Marshall Field & Company, working his way up to group asset protection team leader before moving to Ross Stores in 2008 as vice president of loss prevention. Cloud holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University where he also sits on the board of directors for their Alumni Association.
