Prolific Robber Draws Prison for Multi-County Spree with a BB Gun

A Pennsylvania man is on his way to prison for his role in thefts and armed robberies at Walmart stores in six counties, which netted the culprits cellphones and electronics worth more than $33,000.

Maurkeece Peyton Foreman, 27, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 4½-to-9-years in a state correctional facility after he pleaded guilty to multiple counts of robbery and retail theft in connection with incidents that occurred in Montgomery, Bucks, Lancaster, Luzerne, Cumberland and Dauphin counties between July 2017 and January 2018.

With the charges, prosecutors alleged Foreman brandished a BB gun during several of the armed robberies, including his last one at 1:06 a.m. Jan. 7, 2018, at the Pottstown Walmart along Shoemaker Road, after which he was apprehended.
