Police Extradite Fraudster for 72 Counts in Credit Card Scheme

On October 29 Greenwich Police say a Scarsdale woman was arrested by the Westchester County Police Department for unrelated charges.

Bernadette Thompson, 50, of Chase Rd in Scarsdale, subsequently posted bond on the unrelated charges and was held as a fugitive from justice as a result of Greenwich’s extraditable arrest.

On Nov 6 an extradition hearing was held and Thompson agreed to return to Connecticut to answer for 72 counts of Credit Card Fraud, Identity Theft 2, Illegal Use of Credit Card and Larceny 3 for an incident in July 2018 on East Putnam Ave in Riverside.
