Pavion and Subsidiary, AFA Protective Systems, Strengthen Support for the Loss Prevention Foundation

The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) announced that Pavion, a provider of fire safety, security, AV and critical communication solutions, and its subsidiary, AFA Protective Systems, a leader in the design, installation, and service of fire and security systems, will be strengthening their commitment to the Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) by becoming its newest Master Level Partner.

As a Master Level Partner, Pavion exemplifies a dedication to retail loss prevention and asset protection. Master Level Partners benefit from LPQ and LPC certification course scholarships, as well as complimentary LPF memberships for their loss prevention professionals. This partnership underscores Pavion’s leadership regarding the importance of loss prevention, higher education, and continuous improvement in the industry.

“AFA has long been a valued partner to the foundation but today Pavion and AFA have doubled down on that incredible commitment,” said Caroline Kochman, president of the Loss Prevention Foundation. “They recognize the value of education and certification as a protective factor for LP professionals. Advancing their support allows them to increase the number of professionals they can support with certification and memberships.”

Digital Partners

“Pavion is dedicated to empowering LP and AP professionals through the advancement of education and certification initiatives,” said Jeff Storrs, Pavion regional general manager, retail. “By joining forces with the LPF, we are amplifying our efforts to equip professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle evolving security challenges.”

The Pavion Security Business Unit, which includes Short Circuit and Security Source, among others, offers a comprehensive suite of security solutions tailored for the retail industry that help protect the retail space, ensuring the safety of inventory, staff, and customers.

Storrs added “Having been a past supporter of the LPF, increasing partnership support was a natural progression to help LPF increase its support of the industry and further drive professionalism in the loss prevention community. Pavion looks forward to the important, ongoing work to drive excellence and innovation in security practices globally.”
