Officers Catch Pair Taking Thousands Worth of Goods

A Columbus, Ohio, man and his wife were each charged May 4 with felony counts of theft after Grove City police were called to a store May 3 in the 4100 block of Buckeye Parkway.

Officers responded to a report of a theft in progress. When they arrived at 6:41 p.m., the store’s loss-prevention officer told them a man and woman were in the store, picking up numerous items and concealing them in a shopping cart and plastic bags. The pair also were observed removing security wiring from some items, reports stated.
