LPM Webinar on Strategic Cargo Theft: Evolving Deception & Legislative Efforts to Keep Up

Cargo theft has never been more sophisticated—or more damaging to retailers and their supply chains. Traditional smash-and-grab heists are being replaced by strategic cargo theft, where criminals exploit trust, technology, and paperwork to steal loads without ever breaking a lock or cutting a seal. Fictitious pickups, fraudulent carriers, and identity-based scams now account for some of the fastest growing and most costly theft incidents on the road today. As the threat continues to evolve companies must explore the best ways to keep up—and strike back.

Join us on Thursday, September 25 from 2–3:30 p.m. ET for this webinar where industry leaders break down what every retail supply chain professional needs to know about this evolving threat:

  • Strategic Cargo Theft Deep Dive: Our featured expert will detail how strategic theft works, the dozens of methods being used, the red flags to watch for, and practical steps you can take to prevent your freight from being stolen through fraud and deception.
  • Legislative Update: Hear directly about efforts to add cargo theft provisions to the pending Combating Organized Retail Crime Act (CORCA). Learn why policymakers are focusing on supply chain losses, what new protections may soon be available, and how this legislation could change the way retailers and carriers fight theft.
  • Industry Update from ISCPO Leadership: Leaders from the International Supply Chain Protection Organization (ISCPO) will provide an inside look at current supply chain crime trends, emerging risks across trucking and logistics, and how collaboration between retailers, carriers, and law enforcement is driving solutions.
