The LP Foundation Announces Thruvision as Newest Bachelor Partner

The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) announces its newest Bachelor Level Partner, Thruvision. The Bachelor level partnership allows Thruvision to provide LPQ and LPC certification course scholarships, as well as LPF memberships, to loss prevention industry professionals.

Terry Sullivan, LPC, President of the Loss Prevention Foundation commented, “We are so pleased to announce our new partnership with Thruvision. Our scholarship partners are critical to the continuation of the LPF’s mission of education for the loss prevention industry through our LPQ and LPC certification courses. By partnering with us, Thruvision is showing their commitment to supporting the LPF’s mission and the loss prevention / asset protection industry.”Thruvision, headquartered in the United Kingdom with offices in Washington, D.C., is a safe distance, people security screening technology that uses patented “Passive Terahertz Technology”. This technology is uniquely capable of detecting metallic and non-metallic threats including weapons, explosives, and hidden contraband items. Thruvision has been vetted and approved by the US Government’s Transportation Security Administration for surface transportation, and Thruvision cameras are used to screen many thousands of retail distribution center workers every day.

“We are delighted to have partnered with the LPF to help educate loss prevention industry professionals on how best to deliver effective people security screening while meeting the new demands presented by COVID-19”, commented Kevin Gramer, VP Americas for Thruvision Inc. “Removing the need to “pat-down” employees has become a critical new requirement for our industry and we are proud to be working with our customers to meet this urgent need.”
