This year the Carolinas Organized Retail Crime Alliance will be hosting their 7th annual conference from the Sheraton Imperial in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The event will begin with an evening Welcome Reception on Wednesday, October 12th followed by a full day of conference activities on Thursday, October 13th.

This outstanding event hosts retailers and law enforcement from both North and South Carolina as part of CORCA’s continued focus on expanding networks, building relationships, and providing valuable educational opportunities. At the conference, you will hear from various speakers along with presentations on some of the most timely and important issues in happening in loss prevention.
In addition to a lineup that will hold a little of something for everyone, the conference will also feature opportunities to win one of five LPCertified course scholarships, one of five LPQualified course scholarships, and one of five Organized Retail Crime Certificate course scholarships provided by the Loss Prevention Foundation simply by attending the event!
The Carolinas Organized Retail Crime Alliance (CORCA) was created in response to an increased level of retail crime in North and South Carolina and more sophistication surrounding complex schemes and organized efforts to obtain goods through illegal methods. CORCA focuses on bridging communication between law enforcement and retailers and offering a secure method of capturing content between different agencies.
With oversight provided by the professional staff of the state retail associations for all Alliance operations, CORCA allows retailers and law enforcement to further the mission of offering consumer education and awareness around the issues associated with retail crime while providing opportunities for continuing education credits for retail loss prevention professionals and law enforcement.
