The Knox County Sheriff’s Office released data on its holiday task force Monday.
The final numbers over the holiday period ran from November 17 to December 23.
- 465 Arrests
- 200 Outstanding Warrants Served
- $193,000.00 in Stolen Property Recovered
- $48,000 in Counterfeit Merchandise Recovered
The sheriff’s office said the Holiday Task Force Team was comprised of 17 deputies and detectives across the sheriff’s office division teams.
“These statistics are a result of the hard work and dedication that each of our task force members made to keep our citizens safe, and our retailers from financial loss, in what has already been a challenging year for business. The Organized Retail Crime Unit will continue to serve Knox County year round.
