Gary Smith, LPC was recently promoted to Senior Director of Asset Protection at Walmart. Gary was most recently Senior Director of Asset Protect – Small Format Stores for the retailer. He began his loss prevention career with Walmart in 2006 as an Asset Protection Manager after serving with the United States Air Force, and has progressively moved up the career ladder ever since; also holding positions as a Market Asset Protection Manager, Regional Asset Protection Manager, Health and Wellness Market Director, and Divisional Asset Protection Director. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Delta State University.
