Duo in Police Shooting were Wanted for ORC Spree

The two suspects arrested after a police shooting at a Queen Creek shopping center last week were wanted for a crime spree across the Phoenix area, authorities said Monday.

Goodyear’s Brian Garduno, 30, and Show Low’s Megan Elizabeth Revier, 27, face more than 100 felony charges in over 40 cases, according to the Goodyear Police Department. They are accused of stealing more than $25,000 in merchandise.

After their arrest Friday following a shooting at Queen Creek Marketplace involving Goodyear police, five charges were added to Garduno’s record – organized retail theft, unlawful flight, two counts of vehicle theft and DUI – and a vehicle theft charge was tacked onto Revier’s list.

Detectives followed the suspects to the TJ Maxx at Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop roads and saw them commit another theft, police said. According to ABC15, Garduno tried to ram the car he was driving into police vehicles when officers shot through his windshield. Both suspects suffered injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening. No officers were hurt… KTAR News
