Copper Thief Gets 18 Months in Jail

A Maryland man charged with twice stealing thousands of dollars in copper wire and other merchandise from Lowe’s was sentenced to 18 months in jail.

Brandon Lee McKenrick, 34, formerly of Brunswick, Maryland, pleaded guilty Thursday to theft of $1,500 to $25,000.

He was charged with stealing shopping cart loads of goods from the Lowe’s on Shank Farm Way in Hagerstown on Aug. 29 and Sept. 1, 2018, according to the charging document… Herald-Mail Media
