The ASIS Retail Loss Prevention Council is asking the LP Magazine audience to consider completing a short survey to help support their efforts in pursuing topics considered important to the retail loss prevention/asset protection community.
The mission of ASIS is to strengthen the professionalism of all security practitioners and further highlight the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, government entities, and the public.
In order to ensure that ASIS is meeting the needs of all niches in the security industry they have structured councils which are filled with subject matter experts and leaders of the specific industry of which the council represents. The Retail Loss Prevention Council is comprised of loss prevention/asset protection/retail security leaders from some of the largest retailers in the world. They are focused on developing standards for the retail LP environment, communicating specific issues and initiatives that impact retail loss (such as ORC, organized retail crime) as well as help drive legislation that allows retailers to combat the constant barrage of external theft.
The goal of this survey is to help ensure the Retail Asset Protection Community focuses on unique, timely, and relevant matters. Please take a few minutes to provide your thoughts.
