Area-Wide Retail Theft Ring Suspects Arrested… Again

Two suspects in a California Bay Area-wide organized retail theft ring have been arrested again, authorities said Friday. Rudy Obdulio Rivera, 44, and Mercy Folgar Sandoval, 42, both of Pacifica, were out on bail when crime suppression unit detectives caught them trying to set up a new stash house in Daly City early Thursday morning, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said detectives found $20,000 worth of stolen merchandise when they searched Rivera’s vehicle. Rivera and Sandoval, along with Dania Rivera, 20, of Pacifica, were arrested and booked into… The Mercury News
