A Woman is Now Heading to Prison; Pled Guilty to Retail Fraud

Kristina Mae Zimmerman plead guilty on January 28 to Retail Fraud in the 1st degree as a Habitual 4th Offender. The conviction was a result of an investigation conducted by Clare Police Department in August of 2020 after Zimmerman and her co-defendant, Lisa Elliot, were caught on camera stealing multiple bottles of alcohol from Witbecks.

She was sentenced on Monday, to serve 12 months and 14 days to 15 years in prison, with credit for 138 days already served.
