Four California women suspected of robbing a store at the Westfield Valencia Town Center mall on Sunday, October 13, at approximately 6:00 PM, had a captured-and-booked ending, thanks to the combined efforts of Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies, California Highway Patrol troopers and eyewitnesses who provided deputies with vital information.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s COBRA detectives say the suspect(s) got away with over $10,000 in merchandise from a women’s clothing store located within “The Patios” at the Westfield Valencia Town Center Mall. Eyewitnesses gave deputies a description of the vehicle that fled the scene.
A Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputy patrolling the Gorman area observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspects’ vehicle driving on the I-5, near the Tejon Pass. The deputy immediately contacted California Highway Patrol (CHP), and troopers subsequently located the vehicle parked at a rest stop near Frazier Mountain Road.
Four female adults, ages 19-20 years old, hailing from the Oakland area, were detained on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy. Stolen merchandise was located in the suspects’ vehicle. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies transported the victims back to Frazier Park where they positively identified the suspects. The suspects… SCV News
