ThinkLP Advances to Bachelor-Level Partner of the LPF

The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) announced the advancement of its longtime partner, ThinkLP, to a Bachelor-Level Partner, allowing ThinkLP to provide LPQ and LPC certification course scholarships, as well as LPF memberships, to loss prevention professionals.

“We are delighted that our partnership with ThinkLP continues to grow and evolve,” said LPF President Caroline Kochman. “ThinkLP’s leadership and innovation in its space is no secret and I daresay has been integral to the evolution of CMS in the industry. We look forward to collaborating with the ThinkLP team to enhance the value we bring to the LP industry.”

In addition to advancing its support of LPF certifications and other educational offerings to the industry, the ThinkLP team has opted to become a sponsor of LPF’s Annual “Swing for Certification” golf tournament. This annual golf outing raises funds for the Bob MacLea Memorial Scholarship and the LP Benevolent Fund, supporting education for LP practitioners and aiding those injured on the job.

Tony Sheppard, a distinguished industry leader and vice president of retail risk solutions at ThinkLP, has collaborated with the LPF in many ways over the years and was key to elevating ThinkLP’s role in support of certification for industry professionals, which in turn elevates the credibility of the LP industry as a whole.

“Our partnership with the LPF showcases our commitment to enhancing security measures and fostering professional growth and education within the LP community,” Sheppard said. “We’re excited to see how our continued collaboration will drive innovation and elevate standards across the industry.”
