Two (California) teenagers were arrested after police said they pepper-sprayed security guards while stealing from a store in the Shops at Tanforan mall.
Police were called to the mall just before 2:30 PM Sunday after two loss prevention officers reported they had been pepper-sprayed while trying to stop a shoplifter.
A 16-year-old Bay Point boy and 17-year-old San Francisco girl who had stolen items from a business at the mall were soon arrested nearby, San Bruno police said.
