Teen Assaults LP Associate During Attempted Robbery

An 18-year-old assaulted and injured a security officer after attempting to rob a Long Island, New York, Walmart police said.

It happened around 7 PM on Saturday, October 19 in Valley Stream, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, Maximo Burdier, 18, of South Ozone Park in Queens, entered Walmart located at 77 Green Acres Road and attempted to exit the store without paying for merchandise.
