Sisters Accused of Stealing Baby Formula in ORC Ring

Two sisters in Peoria, Arizona, have been arrested after police say they stole thousands of dollars worth of baby formula from Scottsdale Safeway stores. Tiffiany Ann Henderson, 22, and Tashka Henderson, 25, face multiple charges of organized retail theft and trafficking in stolen property.

Police say that between January 2019 and November 2019, the sisters stole numerous cans of baby formula eight different times from various Safeway stores in the Scottsdale area.

Police say the sisters would enter the stores with reusable shopping bags and then load the bag with cans of formula. “She [Tiffiany] then produced an old store receipt and held it in her hand as she exited the store, making no attempt to pay for the concealed merchandise,” according to the police report. The stolen formula was worth more than $3,500.
