Prolific Robber Sentenced to 16 Years Behind Bars

A Yucaipa man already serving a five-year sentence for a 2015 bank robbery was sentenced Monday to 201 months in prison after he was convicted of armed robbery in multiple businesses and banks in San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties in California. According to the US Attorney’s Office, Sheyenne Lee Parsons’ sentence of more than 16 years will run at the same time as the five-year sentence for robbing a Culver City bank on April 30, 2015.

Parsons, 38, pleaded guilty to two counts of armed bank robbery and one count of using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence, prosecutors said. In a plea agreement, he admitted to participating in three armed bank robberies and three retail store robberies. Locations robbed included a Toys “R” Us, Boot Barn, David’s Bridal, Wells Fargo, Chase and Community Valley Bank, according to the Attorney’s Office.    [Source: The Sun]
