Two persons were arrested for shoplifting and criminal conspiracy in connection with a theft they were caught committing at dd’s DISCOUNTS on Hatch Road on Wednesday morning, September 4.
At 11:50 AM, a store employee was watching Nemyah Wyatt, 36, of Modesto, California, selecting items in the store and acting suspiciously. The employee recognized Wyatt as being responsible for previous thefts from the store.
Officers Nicolas Welsh, Pat Dayton and Adam Hall arrived as Wyatt left the store with unpaid merchandise and walked to a car occupied by Jordan Herr, 27, of Modesto. As Wyatt approached the car, Herr popped the trunk lid open for her and she placed the stolen items in the trunk. Officer Welsh rolled up to the vehicle in his patrol unit with his emergency lights on and Wyatt began walking away… The Ceres Courier
