Kelly Murphy-Iversen has been named director of loss prevention with Delaware, Ohio-based American Freight, Furniture, & Mattress. Murphy-Iverson spent almost 23 years with Toys R Us & Babies R Us and was their regional director of asset protection based in Pittsburgh prior to her new position. She attended Mercyhurst University on a Basketball Scholarship where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Loss Prevention Operations & Criminal Justice.
American Freight, Furniture, and Mattress is a warehouse-style discount furniture store open to the public that specializes in name brand furniture obtained through dealer cancellations, factory closeouts, retail chain buyouts, and wholesale liquidations with over 100 discount furniture stores located in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and is continuing to grow.
